Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong 2nd Edition Is Publishing

The Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong is the multi-volume legal encyclopedia which provides statements on Hong Kong law together with cited authorities such as cases and relevant legislation. The First Edition started in 1995 with 27 volumes which are arranged in broad subject order. The print version updates by re-issue of main volumes and a loose-leaf current service. It has a subject and legislation index volume and cases index volumes.  

The first volume of the Second Edition of the Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong has been published. This is the v. 22 Discrimination and it is a new subject. Another new subject, Legal Aid will be published at the end of the year. There will be 51 volumes plus a subject and legislation index volume and cases index volume for the Second Edition. The volumes in the First Edition will be incorporated into the Second Edition.

The Law Library has both the print version and electronic version of the First and Second Edition of the Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong. The electronic version of the Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong is available on Lexis.com

The British Yearbook for International Law

The British Yearbook for International Law is a publication on research on all aspects of international law. The first volume started in 1920.

The Law Library has the full set of this publication. v. 1 (1920 - 21) to v. 46 (1972 - 73) are available in the electronic version in HeinOnline. From v. 47 (1974 - 75) onwards are available in print version which are located at the Law Library Periodical Section (UL Law Periodical).

Recently, the editors of the British Yearbook for International Law has selected some articles and put them on the publisher website for free access
