Faculty of Law Legal Citation Style Guide (Version 17 (February 2014))



The Lee Quo Wei Law Library has updated the Faculty of Law Legal Citation Style Guide on its website under  the heading Information Guides & Subject Guides. The latest version is the Version 17 (February 2014).

This guide outlines citation style for commonly used legal resources. A list of further readings is provided at the end of this guide.

Version 17 has added detailed information of citation format of various types of secondary sources. It has also updated the edition information of further readings.

The print copies of this guide are also available at the Lee Quo Wei Law Library and the Legal Resources Centre in the Graduate Law Centre.

Electronic version is available on the Lee Quo Wei Law Library website as well as the CUHK Honesty in Academic Work website.

China Law & Reference



China Intellectual Property Law Reference Service has recently added to Wolters Kluwer’s new database China Law & Reference (威科先行 法律信息庫). The library has subscribed to this database.

China Intellectual Property Law Reference Service contains commentary on China IP law,  IP legislation and judicial interpretations in Chinese and English translation,  case analysis and selected judgments in full text.

Asian Journal of Law and Society



The Asian Journal of Law and Society (AsianJLS)  is a new  journal which will be published in 2014 by the Cambridge University Press and KoGuan Law School at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The Library will subscribe to this journal. 

It focuses on Asian perspectives on topics in law and society globally.  The first issue is expected to be published in Spring 2014. Several articles are available on the Cambridge Journals Online now. Please refer to the link below for more information.
