Penn Law's Global Women's Leadership Project (GWLP)



Under the auspices of Under Secretary General and Executive Director of UN Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, The Global Women's Leadership Project (GWLP) at Penn Law was created to provide a clearing house of information on laws that govern women's status in the family, as the first phase of the UN Women's Family Law database.

Penn Law’s Global Women’s Leadership Project (GWLP) aims to provide research for UNESCO and UN Women in support of their work on women, peace and justice and women’s human rights.

As of 1 July 2018, the Hong Kong e-Legislation (HKeL) has become the only government legislation website. The previous Bilingual Laws Information System (http://blis.gov.hk) has been discontinued.
