New LibrarySearch system - Coming SOON!

We are very excited to let you know that a NEW LibrarySearch system is coming soon in July! The new LibrarySearch improves upon our current search system in the following ways :

Mobile responsive - It works on your desktop computer, tablets as well as your smartphones.
Modern design - Based on user studies and feedback to address different needs of different types of users.
Single password - There's one less password to remember! Your CUHK OnePass password is the Library password.
Seamless - The new LibrarySearch fully supports CUHK single sign-on (SSO), you don't have to re-login when you visit other applications that support SSO.
Unified view - Glance all checkouts via a single Library account, including the items you borrowed with your JULAC Library card.
Automatic email receipts - Electronic receipts may be sent via emails to help you keep track of your loan activities.

Date	Action
5 June	Last day to make request on HKALL items via HKALL Catalogue. Use Interlibrary Loan to request for books after this date: ·         For eligible staff and postgraduates: request via ILLiad. ·         For other staff and undergraduates: send requests to ulill@lib.cuhk.edu.hk. Last day for JULAC Library card borrowing.
15 June	All books borrowed via HKALL or by JULAC Library cards are due on this date.  Overdue books will incur fines.
29 June	Last day to export 'My Reading History' in 'My Library Record'. You are encouraged to clear all your fines before this date as no fine payment can be made during 30 June to 3 July. You are also encouraged to return your borrowed CUHK items before this date, especially if you are planning to be away in summer. For any outstanding requested item, please keep a record of it/them as your request will not be migrated to the new library system.
30 June to early July	Continue to search. Continue to use electronic resources. Continue to borrow at the counter. Renew by email. No self-service borrow and return. No online renewal. No online holds. No access to "My Library Record". No registration and card issuance.
